Can you believe my first marathon all I consumed during the race was water at miles 16 and 20?! I never trained with gatorage or food so I was worried about getting stomach cramps. No wonder I felt like I was hit by a bus for about a week afterwards. The recovery gets much easier with each one.<br /><br />Perfect timing on your marathon. It's a whole new ballgame after having a baby. I'm still trying to find my marathon mojo, between work and single parenting half the week. But you will continue running, no doubt.
