Kelly and Brad
I contributed the same caprese style salad we had at my parents' at Christmas: Ricotta in the middle, warmed tomatoes (I microwaved mine with a little garlic, EVOO, salt and pepper for two minutes), fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, drizzled with EVOO and Balsamic vinegar. Served with french bread.
Our friend Josh made two kinds of brownies, peanut butter and chili flake. I believe they were from the Southern Living cookbook. Incredible...
I'm always impressed by men that cook, since my husband only makes cheese fondue!
Many people came and went, but there was a pretty good turnout.
Sarah and I- she's getting married in 2012!
I'm pretty excited for Sarah and Tim's wedding :)
Some of the guys: Grant, Tim, and Josh. Josh is the one that made the brownies. He's single ladies... :)
Kelly, me, and our friend Jess.
Brad and Gibson.
And of course Rascal was there!
I'm pretty sure he had a full belly by the end of the night, after doing tricks for food for all the guests!
I somehow managed to make it til midnight, which was a feat for me since I usually pass out around 10pm!
I watched the ball drop and toasted with my non-alcoholic drink, then headed home. I had a glass of champange punch at the beginning of the night, but then switched to water and non alcoholic beverages since I had to drive.
Anyway, it was a fun night! Thanks to Kelly and Brad for hosting and it was so great to ring in the new year with so many good friends!
How was your New Years Eve? Who did you celebrate with?

Happy new year, Brittney! That stinks that your husband couldn't be there- I was in that boat last year. I'm glad he was able to come home the day of!
