Tweedle Dee, Twitter Dumb!

So I hopped on the Twitter bandwagon today.  I've heard a lot of my fellow Charlotte bloggers communicate on it and thought I was starting to get out of the loop.  So I joined.  This is actually my second attempt at Twitter.  Last time I joined, I opened an account and complete strangers were following me.  This was pre-blog, and I was like, "Um, who the heck are you and why would you follow me if I've NEVER POSTED ANYTHING??".  So we'll see what happens this time.  If I can figure it out, I'll try and post a link to follow me on Twitter, but I can't promise anything seeing as I seemed to have met my online match in figuring out Twitter.  Is it just me or is it kinda confusing?  Gotta find Ashton and Obama and up their follower numbers for them ;)

Anyhoo.  In other news I busted open a packet of Chocolate Infusion Amazing Meal that I bought at Healthy Home Market yesterday and used it in a smoothie this morning.

 I used:
1/2 packet of Amazing Meal
handful of ice
3/4 cup of milk
1 banana
1/2 cup of raspberries

The Verdict?  It was kind of chalky.  I have actually yet to find any chocolate powder (protein or other) that doesn't taste kinda chalky in a smoothie.  I'm on a quest for a good tasting chocolate powder to use in smoothies, so let me know if you know of one.  One thing I will say, is that it did make me feel REALLY good.  I mean, it was a MONDAY morning and I did feel like I had a little extra hop in my step today.  I've been looking for something to give me that energy boost, so this was nice.  We'll have to see how the pomegranite mango Amazing Meal is, and also the chocolate Vega.  Stay tuned.

After playing with Twitter for a while and running to the store for some essentials (that would be a new mop head, hairspray, a jar of PB&Co Dark Chocolate Dreams, and some fruit...  priorities people!), I came back to the house famished and reheated some of last night's Quinoa and Bok Choy stir-fry, and made a baked sweet potato with a little almond butter and maple syrup drizzled on top.

(I kind of forgot about taking a picture til after I'd mowed down the quinoa/bok choy, but you saw it yesterday, so you get the idea...)
Clyde was totally begging to try it and LOVED the sweet potato.  Silly boy.
Ok, it's time for The Bachelorette.  I love me some trashy TV!

I've been on Twitter for a few months now, and honestly I just love reading what the celebrities dish about!

Try the chocolate whey protein in the red and white big container at TJ's. I use that + the chocolate amazing grass. I don't think it tastes chalky at all. I also really like GNC's generic brand. I can't remember what it's called but they sell it in gigantic red and black tubs. It will last you a really long time. I bought two of them last year and it took me several months of consistent smoothie making to go through them. We eat smoothies a lot!

Yay for new methods of stalking- Twitter!
Thanks for the chocolate protein suggestion Kel, I will check it out on my next trip to TJ's. I've been using Soy Chocolate Protein powder and it kinda bites...
