My Kind Of Night Out

Wednesday night I joined a bunch of my friends at The Grapevine, a wine bar I really like, for an event for charity.  The wine bar allows for people to guest bartend for tips for the charity of their choice.  My friend Sabrina was our bartender for Melanoma research.  I loved the idea of this and invited pretty much anyone I thought would come.  Drink wine for a good cause?  Yes, I'm in.

Hello Jen!

I ordered a wine flight to start with. 

Red Wire, Diseno Malbec, Layer Cake Primitivo.

I think the Red Wire was actually my favorite of the three.  Delish :)

We also ordered some appetizers.

Cheese plate.

Roasted red pepper hummus and olives.  I later had an unpictured Malbec.

Hey there Kelly!

 Katy showed up too.  We're all hoping she moves to Charlotte really soon :)  She was here while her husband was interviewing, so it's looking promising!

We had a great turn out!  A lot of people came and ate, drank, mingled, and tipped!

This was exactly my kind of night out.  I love going somewhere I can have some wine, chat with my friends, have some food, and I was home by 9:30pm.
