On our trip on Sunday, we got a bunch of good stuff.
Crunchmaster Multi-grain crackers.
I LOVE sesame rice crackers, and my mom actually showed me these when I was in Hilton Head a couple weeks ago because they sell them at Sam's Club too (where my mom does her bulk shopping).
Mini Cucumbers.
Sometimes it's just more fun to eat the mini version of foods... The other day I brought three of these in my lunch to work and it was a fun change :)
Mini!
Cascadian Farm Granola Bars.
I've actually seen other bloggers eating this brand, but Costco has had them for a while now and Greg and I love them. The Harvest Spice granola bars taste like pumpkin spice and have that great crunchy texture. I feel like most of the bars I eat now are softer, so this is fun change.
Sabra Hummus- the BIG tub.
I usually make my own hummus now, but I thought I would change things up and buy some for a change. I brought a small container of some of this for lunch the other day with the mini cucs and had fun dipping them in it for lunch. Also great with carrots, which is how I ate it last night.
Again, I think Costco was ahead of the curve on this brand. I know Kath and several other bloggers love these, as do I! They're a great base for nachos, great with dips, soups, or just plain.
Giant Jar of Artichoke Hearts.
You can probably tell if you look at my pizza, salads, or hummus, that I LOVE artichoke hearts! I buy this giant jar of them and eat them on everything I can. MMMM, so good :)
Good Food Made Simple steel cut oats.
I just found these last weekend. They are in the freezer section. They are individually portioned steel cut oats! I love steel cut oats, but only make them on weekends when I have more time in the mornings because they take so long to cook. I need quick options on a weekday, and rolled oats are a staple for me, but I figured I'd give these a try...
In light of the recent controversy over McDonald's oatmeal, I checked the ingredients. Pretty much looked the same as how I would make my oats...
Let's give it a whirl. Take the prepacked portion out of the freezer...
Place in microwave safe bowl.
Microwave for 2 1/2-3 minutes. Stir and eat.
Verdict? Not bad. Kind of perfect for a weekday breakfast. I ate these straight up, but you could still sprinkle coconut, nut butter, or whatever else floats your boat on them... Some people might complain that they are sweetened with brown sugar/maple syrup, but that's the way I like mine anyway, so I'm not complaining. I will call them a win.
Last, but not least, we got this book called "Inside of A Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, so we can understand our dog ;) I really want to know what's going on in that head of his!
Have you found anything great at Costco lately?

I haven't been there in ages! I've been thinking about getting a membership again though. I love getting nutrition bars from there, and I also love looking at the DVDs and books. I'm a total sucker for anything in bulk. :)
I love Costco. :D There's one just down the street from my work so I go every Friday. Since I go weekly we don't have "ginormous" bills but I definitely spend a lot there.:D
My favorite (right now) would have to be the Quaker Oatmeal Squares. Totally bought some last week even though I was also buying 10 lbs of rolled oats and had a huge box of Ancient Grains at home. :D
I miss shopping at warehouse stores! I used to all the time when I had roommates, but now that it's just me, I don't really need to...but they always have such good stuff! I can't resist buying stuff in bulk.
Jeff once went through the giant sabra container in a week. So I never bought it again. Can that much hummus really be good for you?
And my mom just sent me that book! I haven't read it yet, but too funny!
